Port of Aalborg approached Clienti because they had decided they wanted a new website. They were aware that the website was "only" a platform and that they needed to build the foundation for the story that would position their brand; not only as an intelligent logistics centre but also as one of the most interesting and innovative business parks in the Nordic region. So we didn’t start out by discussing the "technology"; instead, we started with the story of who Port of Aalborg was and what impact their ambitious business strategy had on their brand at the time. This is why it was decided that Clienti, alongside the management team, would develop a go-to market communications platform.

The change of name from ‘Aalborg Havn’ to ‘Port of Aalborg’ was one of the outcomes, and with the new "Gate to Great" platform we jointly created a position that could support the development that Port of Aalborg has been undergoing in recent years, from a traditional regional port to a large international business area and logistics centre.

"Gate to Great" has grown both internally and externally, creating visibility and a foundation for the story that Port of Aalborg – alongside the rest of the business community and other key players in the region – must tell in order to obtain a strong position in the battle to attract international companies and investors to the region.
